Outdoors Dan’s Taxidermist Tips
To ensure your trophy is preserved perfectly, follow these tips from Outdoors Dan:
- Cape Carefully: Always cape your deer well behind the shoulder to provide enough hide for your taxidermist.
- Remove Fat: Skin as much fat as possible from the hide to make packing easier.
- Preserve the Hide: Place the hide in a plastic bag and store it in a cooler or freezer as soon as possible.
